Tennis is a safe non contact sport that does not need to rely on expensive equipment. It can be practiced alone or played with 2, 3 or 4 people and it is one of the easiest sports to participate in.

Unlike many other sports, tennis is gender neutral and gives equal opportunities for males and females to participate, enjoy and achieve! Whatever the age, gender, or physical ability tennis is the perfect sport.

Tennis New Zealand Seniors

Tennis New Zealand Seniors aim to increase the playing opportunities and social interaction for tennis players of all standards over the age of 30. They provide Senior Tennis Clubs enabling social and competitive tennis events all year.  They organise National Age Group and Team Seniors Tennis championships each year and select teams to compete in overseas senior tournaments.

Visit their website to find out more and discover senior clubs in the Canterbury region.
